Darwin’s favourite festive event is right around the corner.
This year’s A Very Darwin Christmas Pageant will see more than 50 community-led floats parade, dance and walk through the heart of our beautiful, tropical city.
There are plenty of other ways to get involved with this year’s Christmas Pageant– whether you’re a community group, local business, performer, or just a Christmas enthusiast, there’s a place for everyone in this year’s celebration.
We are seeking a number of volunteers to help spread Christmas cheer, and make this year’s Pageant the best it can be. We’re seeking volunteers who can provide support in some, or all, of the below areas:
- Event support (e.g. helping with registrations, stage help etc.)
- Chalk collection (e.g. helping the children draw with chalk, collecting chalk)
- Marshalling (e.g. helping crowd control along the pageant route – keeping people safe)
- Side Crew (e.g. event set up/pack down, rubbish collection)
